You won’t notice a change with invisible subframes, but the page may be impacted in some manner.
- Extension and plug-in processes: A bubble will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, stating that the extension or plug-in has crashed and requesting that you reload it.
- Crashpad processes: The process will be terminated. Other methods of reporting crashes in Microsoft Edge exist.
- Dedicated workers/service workers: A tab’s functionality may be compromised.
